The Sound Of Revolution will return on November 2 -3, 2018 in the venue Klokgebouw in Eindhoven. Due to the huge success of the first two editions and the big amount of people travelling from all over the world, the Friday evening has been added to the festival. For this evening, Life Of Agony, Propagandhi, Street Dogs, Beowülf and Deathtrap have already been confirmed. One more band for November 2nd will be added soon. For the line-up of Saturday November 3, 12 new names have been announced: Suicidal Tendencies, Agnostic Front, Comeback Kid, Earth Crisis, Underdog, Brutality Will Prevail, Sworn Enemy, Trail Of Lies, Regulate, Toxic Shock, St. Hoodand Topnovil. Gorilla Biscuits, Perkele, GBH, The Templars, No Turning Back, Shipwrecked and Mushmouth were already announced.
The Sound Of Revolution was created in 2016 when agent Martijn van den Heuvel joined the Loud Noise team. Martijn is the frontman for Dutch hardcore band No Turning Back for 20 years now and always had a profound connection to the hardcore scene. “Touring the world for 20 years has connected me thoroughly with a lot of hardcore bands and band members, who I am proud to call friends now”, says Van Den Heuvel. “For years it was my dream to promote a hardcore festival, having bands and idols from my youth to come and play. With The Sound Of Revolution, this became a reality”.
Klokgebouw in Eindhoven (Netherlands) was the venue for the first and second edition of The Sound Of Revolution. Featuring bands such as Ignite (USA), Cockney Rejects (UK), Judge (USA), Discharge (UK), No Turning Back (NL), Discipline (NL), Lifeless (USA), Angel Crew (NL/BE) and World Eater (DE), the festival was sold out days in advance with 3600 visitors. The second edition was sold out as well, with around 6.000 visitors and performances of Sick Of It all, Cro-Mags, H2O, Cold World, No Turning Back, No Warning, Dog Eat Dog, Slapshot, Backtrack and more.
